iii) Transparency: Communicating diversity statistics and progress to employees to maintain accountability and transparency.
i) Inclusive Language and Communication: Encouraging the use of inclusive language in all communications and job descriptions to attract a diverse talent pool. Having strict guidelines on communication that is culturally sensitive and avoids stereotypes is required.
ii) Equitable Performance Management: Marvel ensures performance evaluation criteria are objective and unbiased and ongoing feedback and development opportunities are being provided for all employees.
Marvel plans to support D&I Initiatives through
1.Community Engagement: We aim to assist and actively engage with the community by collaborating with community organizations to support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
2. Educational Outreach: Marvel is in talks to engage with local schools and colleges to encourage a diverse talent pool and help people across different communities and genders to pursue careers within the organization.
3. Remote Work Options: All employees are provided the flexibility of in work arrangements, including remote work options, to accommodate diverse employee needs and preferences.
4. Accountability Measures: Holding leaders accountable for diversity and inclusion goals.
By integrating these initiatives into our recruiting practices, Marvel is working toward creating a workplace culture that values diversity, promotes inclusion, and actively combats racism.
